I booked to have a part installed that had been recommended by another mechanic. Downes mechanic looked at it and said it wasn't needed and the part that broke was cosmetic only. He saved me $500 in labour and the cost of the part (the latter I was able to return to the wreckers and receive a full refund.). Thank you!

The mechanics at Downes are incredible. I received excellent customer service. All repairs were very well explained. BTW I had previously gone to the Mitsubishi dealership for the problem where they charged a lot for a diagnostic stating I needed a new muffler. Well that wasn’t the problem at all. It ended up being the front wheel bearing. Downes fixed the problem and more at a reasonable cost. I will continue to use Downes as my go-to mechanic. Thanks!

Amazing team, honest good people that know what they are doing and willing to take the time so you are aware and leave knowing all is well as well as having better understanding of what the problems are and what is needed. Don't upcharge or try selling on things not needed. Wouldn't go to or recommend anywhere else since my experience with Downes Automotive. If I could give more than 5 stars I would they are amazing.

The team at Downes were very helpful with an incident my son had with a curb. They inspected the car for free and then, during the subsequent wheel alignment, helped us to find high quality used tires to replaced at tire that was damaged. Took my 2018 ford f150 to the dealership I bought the truck from they couldn’t find the leak or fix it. Took it to Downs automotive. They found a leak right away, fixed it doesn’t leak a drop. Awesome service highly recommend. Now I can enjoy my camping
